150T
Three-Layer Four-Column Carbon Fiber Hot Press

A custom-built carbon fiber hot press with three working layers and 1500 × 650 mm heated platens. Huajia configures the press around your part dimensions, mold, material and production requirements.

Product Introduction

This 150-ton four-column hot press is built for carbon fiber composite forming. Its three working layers allow multiple molds or workpieces to be processed in one pressing cycle. The machine has 1500 × 650 mm heated platens, a 150 mm opening per layer and a 450 mm hydraulic cylinder stroke. Electric heating tubes provide temperatures up to 300°C, while a PLC touchscreen lets operators set and monitor the pressing process. Carbon fiber products differ in size, layup, mold design and forming cycle. We review these requirements with the customer before finalizing the platen layout, heating arrangement and control configuration.

Key Advantages

Why Choose This Equipment

Built Around Your Mold

We check your part and mold dimensions before finalizing the platen size, layer opening and machine layout.

A Practical Three-Layer Setup

We plan the working layers around your loading method and production target so the configuration fits your actual workflow.

Process Requirements Considered Early

Material, forming temperature, pressing sequence and cycle requirements are reviewed when specifying the heating, hydraulic and control systems.

Custom Equipment from One Manufacturer

Huajia designs and manufactures the press, allowing the mechanical, heating and control configurations to be coordinated within one project.

Support for Overseas Projects

We can provide installation guidance, operator training and after-sales technical support after delivery.
Equipment Components

Main System Structure

Four-Column Structure
Component 01

Four-Column Structure

The four-column structure guides the moving platen during pressing and provides access to the three working layers for mold loading and unloading.

Three-Layer Heated Platen System
Component 02

Three-Layer Heated Platen System

Four electrically heated platens form three working layers. Each layer has a 150 mm maximum opening height, allowing suitable molds or workpieces to be loaded across three layers in one pressing cycle.

Electric Heating System
Component 03

Electric Heating System

Heating tubes are installed in the platen system, with a maximum heating temperature of 300°C. The forming temperature can be set according to the carbon fiber prepreg and mold requirements.

Hydraulic Pressing System
Component 04

Hydraulic Pressing System

The hydraulic system delivers a rated pressing force of 150 tons. The hydraulic cylinder has a 450 mm stroke to drive the pressing movement.

PLC Touchscreen Control
Component 05

PLC Touchscreen Control

The touchscreen provides an interface for setting and monitoring machine operation. The press supports manual and semi-automatic operating modes.

Power and Electrical System
Component 06

Power and Electrical System

The machine uses a 7.5 kW hydraulic motor and has a total heating power of 61.2 kW. Standard power supply is three-phase 380 V, 50 Hz; voltage can be configured for different countries.
