XPE Forming Solutions
Understanding XPE
XPE (cross-linked polyethylene) foam is a lightweight, resilient material supplied in sheets and rolls. It can be cut, laminated with facing materials, and formed into shaped components. Hydraulic presses help apply controlled pressure during forming and lamination, with tooling and process settings selected for the foam thickness and finished part.

Recommended Forming Equipment
Equipment associated with this material and its forming requirements.
From Material to Production
Equipment selection starts with your material, finished product and forming process — not simply machine tonnage.
Material Analysis
Evaluate material behavior, thickness, layers and thermal requirements.
Product Analysis
Review product dimensions, geometry, tolerance and production target.
Process Selection
Determine the suitable heating, cooling, pressing and holding sequence.
Equipment Design
Configure pressure, table, stroke, opening, temperature and controls.
Mold Matching
Match tooling size, weight, loading method and thermal requirements.
Production Integration
Add handling, auxiliary equipment and automation when required.
